This class includes yoga breathing to de-stress and aid relaxation, gentle stretching and flexing exercises which are done from a chair, but also gives the option of standing exercises and sequences. However, these can be adapted and mainly done from a chair if wished. We have a good range of ages, from active 60s' (several look younger but I don’t pry!) to some magnificent students in their 90s! So it is never too late to start! More about 'Who are the Chair Yoga classes suitable for?' Venue: Holy Trinity Church Community Hall, Church Lane, Newcastle Emlyn, SA38 9AB.

Testimonials for Chair Yoga
"I’ve found chair yoga very beneficial. Good and easy exercises and enjoy the meaningful talks and
meditation, plus very interesting hand outs at the end of the class. Lesley’s a very thoughtful and a good leader, preps classes very well. Made some lovely new friends, wish I’d joined sooner. " [Muriel, Newcastle Emlyn Class]
"I joined chair yoga eight months ago, I had never done yoga before so didn’t know what to expect, yoga had been recommended to me following a severe flare up of arthritis in my knee, if you want gentle exercise for body and mind, with a friendly group come join. My knee is strong and my ankle that I fractured twice is moving well." [Sandra - Newcastle Emlyn class]
